Emotional, thought, and behavioral disorders may arise due to such causes as genetic factors, increase of stress, nutritional disorders, etc. Our Psychiatry Unit applies current methods based on scientific foundations in planning the treatment of these problems.
Accurate definition of the cause of a problem is quite critical for effective treatment planning. Psychic disorders are detected by way of face-to-face interviews and necessary tests. The necessary treatment is applied upon the evaluation of the data available.
Various methods are applied for treatment purpose according to the characteristics of the patients and their diseases. These methods may either be the psychotherapies, which are applied in view of the patient’s emotional, cognitive, behavioral, or social aspects of the patient, or the biological treatment methods which involve specific active substances.
